Hydraulic connections 4. Hydraulic connections Preliminary checks: – Check that the system has been cleaned; – Check that there are no impurities in the circuit water; – Check that compatible components are used (e.g. do not connect copper and steel to each other); – Check that the connection to the heating system has been made correctly; – check that the water supply distribution network pressure does not exceed 0.5 MPa (5 bar), otherwise install a pressure reducer at the system's intake; – check that a disconnect device with cock is installed between the system and the domestic water supply distribution network (if present); – check that the expansion vessel of the boiler is large enough to handle the amount of water in the system and, if necessary, install an additional expansion vessel; 4.1 Indoor unit hydraulic connections After the checks: – Connect the outdoor unit to the HYBRID MODULE at point A. – Connect the system delivery to the E fitting. – Connect the return from the system B to the outdoor unit fitting. – Connect an anti-freeze kit (optional) to protect the outdoor unit in the event of a power shortage or a malfunction. – Insert a filter on the outdoor unit inlet.
