Hydraulic connections 4.1 Indoor unit hydraulic connections Preliminary checks: a – Check that the system has been cleaned; – Check that there are no impurities in the circuit water; – Check that compatible components are used (e.g. do not connect copper and steel to each other); – Check that the connection to the heating system has been made correctly; – check that the water supply distribution network pressure does not exceed 0.5 MPa (5 bar), otherwise install a pressure reducer at the system's intake; – check that a disconnect device with cock is installed between the system and the domestic water supply distribution network (if present); – check that the supplied expansion vessel is large enough to handle the water in the system and, if necessary, install an additional one; Remove the rubber protective caps before making the hydraulic connections. The plugs are used exclusively as a protective device during transport.
