TECHNICAL AREA TECHNICAL AREA - reserved for qualified technician Accessing the Technical Area allows for setting/configuring the device according to the specific requirements of every installation procedure. It also provides important information relating to the efficient operation of the boiler. The Technical Area comprises various display windows that allow for directly accessing the parameters Intervening in each single product installation/configuration phase. The parameters relating to each single menu are listed in the following pages. The various parameters can be accessed and modified using the button , the programming Keys b and the ESC button (see picture below). a. ESC button (Back) b. Programming keys c. Press the programming key b the button . to select 234 and press To move within the Technical Area, press the programming key b and press button to access the selected window. Press the programming key b to select a parameter and press button to access it. To modify the value of a parameter, press the programming key b and press button to store the value. Use the ESC button to exit a parameter without storing the modification and for returning to the normal viewing mode. 10° a b b c Insert code Insert technical code 222 Save Example: Modification of parameter 2.3.1 Max. Adjustable Central Heating Power Proceed as follows: 1. Simultaneously press the ESC and buttons for 5 seconds; the display will visualise the request for entering the technical code. 2. Press the programming key b Technical area Language, date and time and select code 234. Complete Menu 3. Press the button; the Configuration Wizard display will visualise the available windows. The 2 Boiler Parameters display will visualise the 2.0 General available sub-menus. 2.1 Free parameters 2.2 Settings 8. Press the programming key b 2.3 Central Heating-1 to select 2.3 - Central heating 1. 2.4 Central Heating-2 9. Press the button to 2.3 Central Heating-1 access. 2.3.0 Max CH Absolute 62 The display will visualise the 2.3.1 Max CH Adjustable 50 2.3.2 parameters relative to submenu 2.3. 2.3.4 2.3.3 10. Press the programming key b to select parameter 2.3.1 Max CH Adjustable 2.3.1 - Max. C.H. Adjustable. 50 % 11. Press the button to access the parameter. Maximum value 100% Minimum value 0% The display will visualise the value of the parameter (50%) 2.3.1 Max CH Adjustable in addition to the minimum and maximum values 46 % allowed. 12. Press the programming key Maximum value 100% Minimum value 0% b to select the new value, e.g. 46%. 13. Press the button to store the modification. (To exit the parameter without storing the modification, press the ESC button). 14. Press the ESC button to return to the normal viewing mode. Turn the encoder to scroll the errors NOTE 1 - Parametrization PARAMETERS BACK-UP FOR PCB AND DISPLAY REPLACEMENT This function enable the boiler to automatically store, each 2 hours, the parameters back-up in the display internal flash memory. Thanks to this function during the PCB replacement is possible restore the previous parameters setting. Read the instructions manual for changing the Main PCB, Display PCB or Display. NOTE 2 - Flow Rate Functions Through the Flow Rate Functions it’s possible to check circulation in different conditions. The DHW flow rate function can be used to detect obstructions that reduce the flow rate value of the internal boiler circuit (i.e. due to plate heat exchanger clogging). Thanks to CH flow rate function it’s possible to perform the central heating balancing. Installation and servicing instructions / 43
